Offshore Dedicated Center
To service long term objectives of customers, FDSC provides Offshore Dedicated Centers or ODC. ODC is a dedicated, customized, and secure Software Development Center that follows client's practices, methodologies and culture. A Dedicated facility is an extension of the customer's own development center.
The ODC service model grew up from the traditional project implementation model to accommodate the specific needs of customers.ODC services help you to avoid concerns about incorporation procedure, or legal fees, payroll, legal compliance, long-term office leases, security etc, at the same time give you full control over intellectual property generated without enormous investments. ODC means that you pay only for what you use - IT infrastructure, scalable technology resources, office administration, and no redundant expenses.
Customers can manage ODC as their own IT department with internal development schedules and deliverables, thus minimizing possible business risks.
Clients see the following benefits by working with this model:
- Faster Time to Market
- Lower Establishment Costs
- Risk Reduction
- Flexibility
- Process Expertise
- Option of owning the facility

Business Analysis
Business Analysis is the set of tasks, knowledge, and techniques required to identify business needs and determine solutions to business problems. Solutions often include a systems development component, but may also consist of process improvement or organizational change. Business analysis as a discipline has a heavy overlap with requirements analysis.
Importance of Requirement Analysis
By investing only 10% more effort in requirements before freezing them, large, complex projects experienced significantly lower cost overruns — 30% to 130% overruns fell to 10% to 20% overruns (NASA Comptroller Office, reported in Hooks and Farry, 2001).
Getting requirements right, early in your project, can save you one-third or more of your overall project budget. (Hooks and Farry, 2001)
You save money by getting requirements right to begin with. Why? Because fixing requirements errors accounts for 70% to 80% of your rework costs (Leffingwell, 1997).
If you cannot invest in getting the requirements done right the first time, how are you going to afford the cost and time that would be required to fix it?
Let us perform business analysis or requirement analysis services for your next project. You will see the difference.

Software Quality Assurance (SQA)
Software Quality Assurance involves the entire software development process - monitoring and improving the process, making sure that any agreed-upon standards and procedures are followed, and ensuring that problems are found and dealt with. SQA is oriented to 'prevention'.
Our Quality Assurance service includes Process Gap analysis, Process definition, Process audit and assessment, Metric management. We provide Software Quality Auditors and Certified Internal Auditors to help you with Quality Assurance.
Software Quality Control (SQC)
- Software Verification
Verification typically involves reviews and meetings to evaluate documents, plans, code, requirements, and specifications. This can be done with checklists, issues lists, walkthroughs, and inspection meetings.
- Software Validation
Validation typically involves actual testing and takes place after verifications are completed. Testing involves operation of a system or application under controlled conditions and evaluating and reporting the results. The controlled conditions should include both normal and abnormal conditions. Testing should intentionally attempt to make things go wrong to determine if things happen when they shouldn't or things don't happen when they should. Testing is oriented to 'detection'.
Let us perform Quality Assurance and Control activities on your next project and see the benefits for yourself. Feel free to write to us for more details on Quality Assurance and Testing Services.
